We Assemble for Prayer
During Advent and Lent we gather Wednesday evenings at 7:30pm in the Parish Center for Evening Prayer - also known as Vespers. The Evening Prayer gives us the opportunity to call upon different members of our community to preside, read and preach so as to share in the gifts that the Spirit is constantly calling forth from us.
Rosary
We pray the Rosary before the 9:00 am Eucharist each weekday.
Benediction
Third Sunday of the month at 2:30 pm in the Hispanic Chapel, La Capila.
Nocturnal Adoration
First Friday of the month from 9:00 to 10:00 pm in the Church.
During the year we assemble in whole or in part as a community to seek the presence of God in both the ordinary and extraordinary events of our lives. Sometimes we assemble in joy to mark God's presence in the passage of time such as on Mardi Gras, the night before Ash Wednesday. At other times, we assemble in anxiety or sadness to face our need for God's reconciliation and peace or to join in the search for God in the midst of a tragedy.
