2008 - 2009 SCHEDULE
- Christ Jesus, the Way has
as its theme story, Jesus feeding the crowds (see Luke 9:11-17). The
theme is demonstrated throughout the year by taking a closer look at the
celebration of the Eucharist. While Jesus was on earth, he provided
food for the apostles and the large crowds that followed him. In that
same spirit, God's people are able to share in a meal with Jesus and the
Church, nourished by the presence of Jesus. Grade two invites the
children to understand the Eucharist and to discover other ways to be
nourished by their friendship with Jesus.
