CONFIRMATION
2011

Confirmation preparation is a two year process, beginning in Level 6 (satisfactory completion of Level 5, which includes the Mass booklet, is mandatory before entering into Level 6).  The children entering into Level 7 this year (2011-2012) will be eligible to be confirmed in the Fall of 8th grade. Please see the schedule below for the mandatory requirements for Confirmation.

Monday, October 3, 2011 - Parent Meeting at either 10:00am or 7:00pm in the O'Connell Room.

Thursday, November 17, 2011 - Meeting for parents and Confirmation Candidates. Please come at either 4:00pm or 7:00pm in the Msgr. Nolan Hall.

Saturdays, November 5, 2011 (1:00pm or 3:00pm) & 19th (11:00am or 1:00pm) - Sacrament of Reconciliation. Candidates will be assigned a date and time.

Weekend or December 3-4, 2011 - Covenants to be presented at any Mass this weekend (gold paper).

Saturdays, January 7 & 28, 2012 - Retreat in the Msgr. Nolan Hall from 9:30am-2:30pm. Candidates will be assigned a date.

Weekend of January 21-22, 2012 - Return Essay "Why Someone My Age Would Want to Follow Jesus" to any Mass this weekend (green paper).

Weekend of February 4-5, 2012 - Return Community Service Pledges at any Mass this weekend (red paper).

Friday, March 16, 2012 - Final date to hand in your Letter to the Bishop to the Faith Formation Office (gray paper).

March 8 & March 12-14, 2012 - Confrimation Readiness Interviews will take place from 6:00-8:30pm in the O'Connell Room. Confirmation candidates will be interviewed by a member of the St. Joseph parish community. The interviews take approximately 15 minutes and candidates will be informed as to which date to attend.

September 2012 - Meeting for Parents and Confirmation Candidates - date to be determined.

Fall 2012 - Rehearsal and Confirmation Dates to be determined at a later date.
